About Runtrip

We started Runtrip because planning a trip had quietly become a second job — forty browser tabs, a spreadsheet, and a Saturday gone. We thought it should feel like texting a friend who happens to know everywhere.

Our story

Runtrip began in 2025 with a simple frustration: the tools meant to help you travel were really built to sell you bookings. Search funnels, urgency banners, prices that shift when you look away. The actual planning — the part that should be fun — was left to you and your tabs.

So we built the opposite. Tell Runtrip where you want to go in plain language, and get a real day-by-day plan back in about thirty seconds: flights, a place to stay, things worth doing, and honest links out to book where you already trust.

What we believe

  • Planning should feel like a conversation, not a form.
  • A good plan respects your budget and your pace — not a partner’s margin.
  • We surface options and link out; we never lock you into a booking funnel.
  • The best itinerary is the one you actually want to live, day by day.

The team

[TO CONFIRM: who actually builds Runtrip. The previous copy described “a small, remote team spread across five time zones” with anecdotes about Lisbon and Kyoto — that was placeholder fiction and should not ship as fact. Replace with the real story, however small: a solo founder is a perfectly good one.]

Get in touch

[TO CONFIRM: the previous copy claimed active hiring across engineering, design, and travel content. Keep only if true — otherwise this is the place for a plain “say hello” invitation.] If making travel planning feel human sounds like your kind of problem, we’d love to hear from you.
