Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Runtrip. By generating a plan or creating an account, you agree to them. They are written plainly on purpose.
1. The service
Runtrip is an AI travel-planning assistant operated by [TO CONFIRM: legal entity name]. We generate itineraries, surface flight and hotel options, and link you out to partners to complete bookings. Runtrip is not a travel agency, tour operator, or booking platform: we never take your travel payment, hold your reservation, or enter into a travel contract with you. Every booking is made with the partner, on their terms.
2. Plans are AI-generated
Itineraries, descriptions, and recommendations are produced by large language models. AI output can be wrong, out of date, or confidently invented — it may misstate an opening time, place an attraction in the wrong neighbourhood, or suggest something that has closed.
Treat a Runtrip plan as a well-informed starting point, not verified travel advice. Before you rely on it, confirm the things that matter — prices and availability, opening hours, visa and entry requirements, health and vaccination rules, travel advisories, and accessibility. Runtrip does not provide legal, medical, visa, or financial advice.
3. Your account
You can plan anonymously; an account is only needed for subscription features. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Runtrip. If you are under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian.
4. Acceptable use
Use Runtrip for genuine trip planning. Please do not:
- →Scrape, resell, or republish generated plans at scale without permission.
- →Attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or disrupt the service, or work around usage limits and rate limits.
- →Submit unlawful or harmful prompts, or use the planner to produce content that is illegal, abusive, or infringing.
- →Use Runtrip to build or train a competing AI model.
We may suspend or terminate access that breaks these rules, or that threatens the stability or security of the service.
5. Bookings, prices & partners
Prices, availability, and opening hours shown in a plan are estimates retrieved from partners at the time of the search and change constantly. The price you see in a plan is not an offer and is not guaranteed. Always confirm the final details on the partner's site before you book.
Some links to partners carry an affiliate marker, which means we may earn a commission if you book through them at no extra cost to you. This never changes what we recommend or the order we show it in. Runtrip is not liable for partner pricing, bookings, cancellations, refunds, or travel disruption — those are between you and the partner.
6. Subscriptions & payment
Runtrip is free to try within the limits shown in the app. Paid plans unlock higher limits and are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payments provider, monetize.software, which handles checkout and your payment details — we never see your card number.
A subscription renews automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on a new subscription, which you can exercise by emailing us. Beyond that, payments already made are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We may change prices with reasonable notice before your next renewal.
7. Intellectual property
The itineraries we generate for you are yours to use, adapt, and share for your own travel. You keep whatever rights you have in what you type into the planner, and you grant us the licence needed to process it and to run the service — including producing the anonymised, aggregated statistics described in our Privacy Policy.
The Runtrip name, brand, design, and software remain ours. Because AI output is not unique, we cannot promise that a plan generated for you is exclusive to you.
8. Liability
Runtrip is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, or that generated plans will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your trip.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost travel costs, missed connections, or losses arising from your reliance on a generated plan or on partner information. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
9. Changes & termination
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change materially affects your rights we will give reasonable notice, and continuing to use Runtrip after it takes effect means you accept it. You can stop using Runtrip at any time and ask us to delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [TO CONFIRM: governing jurisdiction], and disputes fall to the courts of [TO CONFIRM: venue]. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.
